今天来介绍一下这个句型： The...，the... 越……越……

这个句型中“the”不是冠词，前一个“the”是关系副词，连接从句，后一个是指示副词，连接主句，两者前后呼应主句。如为将来时，位于主句前的从句可以用现在进行时代替将来时。后面的成分与前句有相同的部分时可省略。翻译为“越……越……”或“愈……愈……”。

Tips

“比较级+and+比较级”也表示越来越……，在这个结构中的两个比较级不要求词性相同，它们各自的词性依句子而定。
